As ULTRAFORMER Ⅲ targets various depths, even deep wrinkles can be removed. Aside from a few medical contraindications, Ultraformer is ideal for all patients, of all skin types, who want to reverse the ageing process.
ULTRAFORMER Ⅲ’s rapid-shot movement makes treatment precise and efficient. Depending on the area, treatment times can vary. Your entire face can be treated in 60 minutes. While treatment to individual face and body areas can last just 15 minutes.
ULTRAFORMER Ⅲ is engineered to minimise patient discomfort during treatment. This ensures maximum ultrasound emissions can be delivered comfortably, delivering optimal results.
This can vary, depending on the area being treated and the results you want to achieve. For facial treatment, we recommend between 1-2 treatments. For one specific body area, we recommend at least 3 treatments to achieve desired results.

Some patients see results immediately following treatment, while most see gradual improvements from 4-6 weeks after treatment. You can expect these results to improve up to 12 weeks after your treatment.
The results of your treatment should last for 12-18 months, or even longer, in some cases. You can have a mini top-up treatment every 6-12 months to maintain these results. However, you will see the best results using an active skincare regime and avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol consumption.
For optimal results, we recommend men are clean shaven on the day of treatment. You don’t need to wear makeup, as it will be removed before treatment. There are no other specific requirements before your treatment.
Immediately after your treatment, you can resume normal activities, as you will experience no discomfort. However, for the first 24 hours after treatment, we advise against using active ingredients on your skin. We also recommend you avoid anything too hot, such as: physical exertion, exercise, spas, saunas, alcohol, sports and the like.
You can also apply makeup immediately after your treatment.
While uncommon, side effects can occur. However, they are temporary and mild. Your skin may appear red from 30 minutes to a couple of hours after your treatment, but this redness usually dissipates once you leave our Melbourne clinic.
You may experience minor swelling, skin tenderness or tingling from a few days to a few weeks following your treatment session. This side effect is a good sign, as it shows the treatment is working deep within your skin.
In rare cases, some patients experience numbness, welts or temporary bruising.
As ULTRAFORMER Ⅲ is a heat-based treatment, there is a slight chance of burning your skin. Any nerve inflammation you may experience is temporary and will disappear within a few days or weeks after your treatment session.
