Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing: the essentials

Lasers have found application in cosmetic procedures for a long time. When fractional technology was developed, it was possible to use tiny laser beams that had small spaces between them. This helped reduce the target size and help with improving the accuracy of the treatment, and make recovery faster.

When using a fractional CO2 Laser device, it is possible to control the residual thermal damage. This promotes wrinkle reduction and boosts rejuvenation of the skin. Patients results are ultimately softer, smoother and younger-looking skin.

The Fraxis Duo CO2 laser uses more intense settings without damaging additional skin surfaces. It is best used to treat acne scars, sun-damaged skin and to smoothen superficial imperfections.
